Equipment

We can provide a wide range of audio-visual equipment to bring your event to life and the in-house technical support required to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Capacity

Our available spaces cater to a variety of capacities, from intimate meeting rooms ideal for 4-14 individuals, to our large theatre, capable of hosting anywhere from 70 to 180 guests, and everything in between.

Room Layout

We thrive on making your event the best it can be and would love to discuss what room layout will work best for your needs. Choose from cabaret, boardroom, u-shaped, or theatre style.

Catering

We offer a wide range of catering to suit your event and dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free options. Choose from morning coffee and pastries, to light lunches of soup and sandwiches, or more substantial hot bowls of tasty tagines and curries.

Our rooms are extremely flexible and work just as well for a dance rehearsal as a corporate team day and everything in between. This is no ordinary space.

Black Room

The smaller of our 2 black box studio theatres, this is an exciting space for creating and performing. capacities can vary depending on which set up would suite your event best, option of raked seating bank.

The Green Room

The smallest of our multi-purpose spaces is a popular space for small meetings, workshops, rehearsals, script development, table reads and many more.

The Purple Room

Welcome to our creative dance space with a full length mirror performance wall and sprung dance flooring and optional ballet/dance bars this makes for the perfect dance studio.

The Silver Room

A creative multi-purpose space, the silver room is a fully accessible space which can be used for rehearsals, meetings, creative thinking, training to name a few.

The Blue Room

Our Blue room is currently hosting Impact Arts as a creative art studio part time. this large bright space has also been used for workshops, rehearsals, meetings, training among other creative events.

The Gold Room

Our second largest space at The Boardwalk, our only space that hosts a sprung wooden dance floor, this large bright room is fully versatile and has hosted events from ballroom dancing to conferences, as with our other creative spaces in the venue it can be used for a wide range of activities and events.

The Main Foyer

Our huge atrium is the model exhibition and networking space from showing your art to in person informational exhibitions. The space is used regularly for serving hospitality to event bookers.

The Boardroom

Our stylish boardroom is the ideal space for those important board meetings, interviews, hybrid meetings, hot desking, this space has built in air conditioning along with a moveable board table.

The Courtyard

Our little oasis in the centre of the Merchant City! A fabulous break out space when you need a bit of fresh air and has even hosted dinner parties, dance performances and exhibitions.

The Dressing Room

Our dressing rooms can be hired for use alongside your performance in The Boardwalk Theatre but have also been used to deliver Make Up Courses and for film sets!

Studio Theatre Foyer

The foyer before entering our Brian Cox (Boardwalk) Studio Theatre great space for audience to relax and have refreshments before entering and after the performance, the glass walk opens full to allow access to our courtyard area.

Other catering, tech equipment and more can be added to your booking at an additional cost.

The Boardwalk Theatre

Our black box studio theatre is an intimate, immersive performance space with a fully functional lighting truss and all the equipment you need to support your performance. Capacity can vary with the moveable raked seating bank which can hold up to 180.
