We can also provide a range of delicious catering options, light refreshments, and drinks.

Our social impact

The Boardwalk is proud to be a social enterprise.

The venue is run by Scottish community arts charity Impact Arts. And all the proceeds made through bookings at The Boardwalk go towards the charity.

Impact Arts transforms lives through art and creativity. The charity offers a range of creative programmes for people of all ages facing disadvantages or barriers in Central Scotland.

By engaging communities in art projects, Impact Arts empowers individuals to discover their creativity, develop new skills, gain accreditations, build their confidence, and plan their next steps.

Through these programmes, the charity fosters positive change, using art as a catalyst for personal growth, improved wellbeing, and social impact.

Some of the people who benefit from Impact Arts’ projects include:

Children

who are struggling to process challenging life events or experiencing anxiety, challenges making friends, or dealing with complex emotions.

Impact Arts delivers children’s art therapy and creative play programmes to help them increase their resilience, develop coping strategies, bond with friends and family, and build their confidence and self-esteem.
